Health & Well-Being
A healthy community is a productive community. At Lapaa Taa Foundation, we view healthcare as a fundamental right and the cornerstone of sustainable development. Our Health pillar is dedicated to breaking down barriers to quality medical services, promoting preventive care, and building a robust health support system for the most vulnerable.
Our Key Initiatives

Mobile Medical Camps
We bring healthcare directly to the doorsteps of remote and underserved communities. Our periodic medical camps offer free consultations, diagnostic tests, essential medications, and specialized care, ensuring that no one is left behind due to distance or cost. We partner with various hospitals.

Empowering Community Health Promoters (CHPs)
We collaborate with the Ministry of Health to support Community Health Promoters, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and basic supplies to act as first-line responders. These trusted community members provide vital health education, monitor well-being, and connect individuals to formal healthcare facilities.

Supporting Local Healthcare Facilities
We partner with existing clinics and dispensaries to strengthen their capacity. This support can include funding for essential equipment, infrastructure upgrades, and training for local healthcare workers, ensuring quality care is available long-term.

Public Health Advocacy
Lapaa Taa conducts educational workshops on critical health issues such as maternal and child health, nutrition, hygiene, sanitation, and the prevention of communicable diseases.
